Lafayette's Tony Johnson has earned the StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week for the week ending January 14th. Army's Dylan Cox has won StatSheet's Patriot Freshman of the Week. Johnson registered a strong showing in rebounding (3.5 per game), shooting (70%), and scoring (19.5 pts per game). The Lafayette senior put these numbers up in victories against Pennsylvania and Navy.

Johnson topped all scoring for the Leopards with 25 points while also adding 4 rebounds in a close 85-83 win against Pennsylvania. He then added 14 points and 6 assists in a 64-47 victory against Navy.

This is the first time this season that Tony Johnson has been selected StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week. However, he has come in second once. The runner-up this week is our own Mike Muscala. Honorable mention goes to Stephen Lumpkins, a senior from American University.

StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week: Army's Dylan Cox

Dylan Cox averaged 24 minutes starting both games for Army. In a 75-58 loss to Dartmouth, Cox chalked up 4 rebounds and 4 assists. In a 76-55 loss to Bucknell, he led rebounding with 6 and added 2 assists.

This is the second StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week award for Dylan Cox. The runner-up is Tilman Dunbar from Navy. Justin Goldsborough from Lehigh takes honorable mention. Bucknell has won the StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week award 3 times this season.
