Mike Muscala Receives Honorable Mention for the StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week - January 28th, 2013

Murphy Burnatowski from Colgate has earned StatSheet's Patriot Player of the Week award for January 28th. Bryce Scott from Lafayette has won StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week.

Burnatowski led all of the Patriot in scoring (32.0 pts per game). He also had 60% shooting, 5.5 rebounds per game, and 4 three pointers per game. The Colgate senior played well for the Raiders in wins against Army and Navy.

Burnatowski led scoring for the Raiders with 35 points on 58% shooting in a close 93-90 win against Army. He followed that up with a team-leading 29 points plus an additional 2 blocked shots in a 70-56 win over Navy.

Murphy Burnatowski has been named StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week one other time this season. The runner-up this week is junior Mackey McKnight from Lehigh. Honorable mention goes to our own Mike Muscala.

StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week: Lafayette's Bryce Scott

Bryce Scott played an average of 30 minutes as a starter for Lafayette. In a 63-53 win over Holy Cross, Scott led all scoring for the Leopards with 16 and added 4 assists. Then in a massive 78-57 win against Lehigh, he added 5 rebounds and 6 assists.

This is the first StatSheet Patriot Freshman of the Week honor for Bryce Scott. The runner-up is Dylan Cox from Army. Justin Goldsborough from Lehigh receives honorable mention. Bucknell has 4 StatSheet Patriot Player of the Week wins this season.
